My blog, Crazy Love, offers a scientific twist on mental health and matters of the home, heart, relationships and family.
How we relate to ourselves and others seems like such a murky, mixed-up endeavor (seriously, could someone draw us a map for this thing?!). But with solid scientific design and good instincts for human psychology, it can be studied. Patterns appear, sometimes surprising ones, and they suggest solutions. Plus, the emerging field of neuroscience is giving us unprecedented insights into how our brains and our body chemistry help shape who we are.
I aim to explain these developments with clear thinking, compassion and some blessed plain English. I write this blog because I recognize — and relish — the fact that we’re all at least a little bit crazy, and I believe we can move toward sanity with equal parts science and love.
